Stormwatchers is an interactive 3d learning game, designed to help children learn how to prepare for a cyclone, both physically and mentally.


the game was developed in North queensland by the centre for disaster studies, james cook university and redback games, and funded by Emergency management queensland, Queensland department of emergency services, the bureau of meteorology, Queensland health and the queensland department of education, training and the arts.


This game represents the first stage of development, and Although every effort has been made to make Storm Watchers as stable and compatible as possible, by using this software you do so at you own risk, and agree that you will not hold any of the associated organisations liable for any loss of data or damage to your computer. don’t worry, Ours haven’t blown up yet!


Download and installation Instructions

                        1. click on the download button, and save the file to your desktop

                        2. double click the StormWatchers.exe file, and then click install

                        3. Double click the new folder called Storm Watchers to look inside it.

                        4. double click file with the cyclone logo, called Storm Watchers.exe.
